ExPat InSights has hit year two and its on its 7th season. The local expatriate community and the viewers across the Philippines and Asia have offered loyalty and positive feedback. Recently, the host Raju Mandhyan was asked to share insights on what makes stories and strategies in media succeed and flourish.

Mandhyan, in a talk at ATIFTAP, the Association of Training Institutes for Foreign Trade in Asia and the Pacific, shared that it was the ability of the medium or the media creator to have an outward focus towards its recipients and audience that helped and powered the quality and success. He called it "selflessness."

Mandhyan also added that challenges, mindsets and personal biases can get in the way and the best way to handle that is take action and put out valuable news, knowledge and wisdom regardless of the criticism, fear and doubt. He mentioned that it is only our personal biases and mindsets which prevent us from putting out value-adding information and knowledge. He called the principle, the habit of taking spirited, enthused action.

ExPat InSights, a new episode, is broadcast every Sunday night at 9PM and repeated every Monday at 4PM on Destiny Cable's Global News Network [GNN] on Channel 8.
